I realise I look incredibly miserable in this photo but there were no available mirrors so this was my substitute and since I bought the coat I wanted to share it with you before I’ll get chance to take better photos. I actually didn’t intend to buy another coat, I already bought a super warm parka with our New York trip in mind and I love it.. but. There’s always a but. Although it will keep me warm once I’ve put in the sheepskin insert it’s not the cutest of jackets and given how cold it will be I will be wearing it in EVERY photo.. so I had started to consider maybe looking for a smarter looking option when I happened upon this beauty. It might be the most expensive coat I’ve ever purchased BUT (see I told you – always a but) it was almost half price at £95 from £190 and as soon as I tried it on I had to have it. I love the fur collar (not detachable) and plan to wear it with a snood like the one pictured here to fill that gap but I think I’ll get a knitted one cause the velvet just merges with the fur and makes it look a bit like a turtle neck lol.
I bought the coat from the French Connection store at York Designer Outlet and they had LOADS left in not just this colour but several other combinations too if you’re interested and live nearby.
As for the rest of my outfit.. not ideal lighting here but my batwing jumper is ages old from Topshop, I’m wearing my ASOS Disco Pants and the Topshop wedges I got in last seasons Topshop sale
