Sorry for the super brief post yesterday but between getting ready for an all day session (hen party) and filming 3 videos for you guys in the process I ran out of time so the photos were courtesy of my iPhone but I’m back to my usual set up today and ready to rave about another gloss from e.l.f.
You may remember my talking about the Minty Gloss in Miami a couple of weeks ago (see here) well this is it’s sister, New York and I will admit that I bought it for the name alone but it’s actually very nice. The colour is not all that as there’s really not much of it but it gives a nice wash of deep pink which makes it a great transitional colour for Summer/Autumn if you’re not ready for vampy lips just yet – or at all. The thing I really love about this is the taste.. is that weird? It tastes so sweet and minty, I can’t get enough and of course I’m constantly reapplying because it’s just so darn delicious. It gives a little tingle when first applied which hints at plumping but that passes quickly so I’m not sure it does much but who cares when it makes your lips taste like murray mints? HUH? It would make a great first date lip 
What’s even better? Rather that the usual price of £3.75 this is currently a bargainous £2 and I happened to pick it up during the 60% promo so I got it for a serious steal. There are 5 city inspired shades to choose from, I have 2, both of which I’d recommend but if this is anything to go by I don’t think you need them all as the colour is very subtle.
